Needless to say, this year was extremely difficult for small business owners. So when LA County finally … More allowed our operations to resume we had very short turnaround time. This is when we discovered that our Boiler wasn't functioning properly. I called multiple vendors and specialists, but decided to go with Jason from A O Dowd Plumbing because of the way he went about asking me what the issue and problems I was experiencing in trying to diagnose the situation over the phone. Most other competitors were more interested in making sure you know their rates and how this is considered overtime. As a business owner, I am as skeptical and jaded as they come unfortunately due to the numerous times of let downs, price gauging, and simply dealing with "call centers" than actual technicians. So I took a chance with Jason. Although he had other jobs prior to ours; he understood the urgency of our situation and sympathetic to the fact that we're just a small business barely trying to hang on while LA County wreck havoc with abrupt opening/closing policies. He scheduled our job for the early evening since he knew we needed our boiler to be fixed in order to get opened. He did a great job communicating when he was about to head over outside of LA County and the time frame to expect him. Upon arrival, he diagnosed the situation and presented the potential solutions along with the price quote. I highly recommend Jason because not only was he very professional but he was very transparent in how he was going to present potential solutions in tackling the problem. He did wonders in getting our very old but still solid boiler up and running in a couple hours. He definitely saved the day for us.

  What stands out with Jason, besides being responsive and professional, is his ability to communicate. He’s really good at educating us about the issue briefly and clearly, and providing options so we can make decisions confidently.
  We used to use our handyman and sometimes YouTube for plumbing related issues. Now we have the go-to guy we won’t be making uninformed decisions anymore!!

  I moved to this area two years ago, and it was my first time calling a plumber, being very careful , I had four companies come and gave me quotes on descale my tankless … More water heater, and a whole house water filter system. Out of the four plumbers I met, Jason stand out.
  First, he is quick to response and on time. Second, he is very professional, and very patient to explain everything that needs to be done. So after the first appointment, I can almost envision what needs to be done. Third and the most important thing is that I have a great deal. I have a tight budget, and Jason is so kind to provide the service and meet me on my budget. Forth, the service is excellent, I would give a ten star if it is available. Jason installed the whole house water filter system the next day I approve the proposal. He did a great job, very detail oriented. He even walked extra miles to fix the cracks on the wall around the pipes just to make me a happy customer!
  There are many experienced plumbers, but not everyone is patient with you; there are also many plumbers that can fix your problems, but not everyone has a heart to bring a big smile on your face by walking an extra mile like Jason!
